Rate and Write a Review In what has seemed like a continuous evolution since opening in 2002, this cabana-filled Melrose eatery has formed an even stronger bond with its Mediterranean roots, infusing its interior with everything from candles and waterfalls, to a Moroccan-themed club space upstairs. Designed for people who want to savor globally-inspired dishes amid a melange of hipsters sans the pretension, Bungalow Club dishes up entrees such as a center-cut pork chop, lamb chop and even a lobster tail; they've even added some sushi, thrusting a caterpillar and spicy tuna roll into the mix. With food that has become infinitely more desirable since its opening (the prices have always been so), Bungalow Club is flourishing after a prolonged period of serving food that never rivaled the quality of the atmosphere. Add to that a few fruit-infused mojitos and a full range of exotic martinis, such as the almost-blasphemous chocolate martini, and you're starting to experience the Bungalow Club in its element. As you huddle together in any one of the outdoor bungalows (the jewels of the property filled with sexy soundtracks), each diner can experience sublime centerpieces that give off the feeling of dining in a private fort. Special tip for the lazy: The Bungalow Club hosts pajama parties on weekends for brunch, so if you show up in your PJs any time between 10AM and 4PM, they might just reward you with a free round of mimosas.
